Let\u2019s play a game.<\/p>\n

Put down the weather page clouding your sky.<\/p>\n

Or better yet, ball it up, pass it to me:<\/p>\n

you can be Stockton,<\/p>\n

and I\u2019ll be Malone.<\/p>\n

You prefer to be King?<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll be your scepter,<\/p>\n

use me to point from the height of your throne.<\/p>\n

<\/p><\/wp-block>\n

Now close your eyes and imagine a forest.<\/p>\n

You be the Devil\u2019s Club,<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll be the hand.<\/p>\n

Sink your roots in the bank of the river, where I\u2019ll be the salmon digging holes in the sand.<\/p>\n

Throw your hood up, clip your belt on, sweep me off my feet.<\/p>\n

You could be Batman,<\/p>\n

and I\u2019d be the mugger,<\/p>\n

no trace of our presence save my teeth in the street.<\/p>\n

Then burst through the canopy, take to your wings.<\/p>\n

You can be Raven,<\/p>\n

and I\u2019ll be the sun.<\/p>\n

I\u2019d be locked in a box, you would come to my rescue.<\/p>\n

I\u2019d be the ladder<\/p>\n

if you\u2019d be the rung.<\/p>\n

If you grow tired of flying then we\u2019ll be inventors,<\/p>\n

you be Da Vinci,<\/p>\n

and I\u2019ll be the Screw.<\/p>\n

Or society gentlemen toasting our failures,<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll be the olive,<\/p>\n

you be the vermouth.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ve always said I get under your skin;<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll be the virus,<\/p>\n

you be the host.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll float in your blood through this life and beyond,<\/p>\n

where you can be you<\/p>\n

and I\u2019ll be your ghost.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
